Three More Days

You spend days, even weeks, getting ready for a trip.  By the time you're packed, you're more than ready to get going !  We've worked our tails off getting ready to go.   Still have some packing to do, but this morning I had to get Buddy to the groomer for what I hope is the last haircut of the summer.   He gets so hot so fast when he's outside chasing geckos and anioles.   Not to mention the nightly possums.  
      My wonderful, brilliant friend, Ragna, came over because she will help keep my plants alive while we are away.   Jan is the other half of the duo who will be on water duty.   We walked the yard learning where the water faucets are.   By the time she left I'm sure she wanted to say she was too busy to do this.   It's quite a daunting task for a non-plant person.    I very much appreciate the help of good people !   I will have peace of mind if I don't have to worry how the lack of rain could very easily turn my bit of green earth into a yucky brown splat on the landscape.   Lord, please send us just the right amount of rain for ranchers, farmers, gardeners, and all of us who depend on this heavenly moisture.   Amen.
